Boracay Island on a Budget : Expense Breakdown and Tips
Who wouldn't dream of touching down to the pure white sand of Boracay Island? Well, everybody's dreaming about this precious paradise located 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in Western Visayas . In this blog, I will guide you on how to explore boracay without hitting hard one's pocket. How to reach the Island? From Kalibo International Airport, you need to ride a tricycle to Poblacion, Kalibo where several public vans are located in different terminals for approximately Php15/head . Then from Kalibo, the van will take you to Caticlan Jetty Port which will cost you for only Php100/head . Approximate travel time of 1.5 to 2hrs. Note: Van will be available from 5am to 7pm everyday of the week. When you reach Caticlan you'll be using a public pumboat which costs Php25/head (daytime) and Php30/head (night time).
